Air-X² is a compact stroller designed for mobility and effortless travel. Its folded dimensions (55 × 45 × 24 cm) allow it to fit into an airplane overhead compartment, making it a practical solution for active families. The structure enables quick one-handed folding, and once folded, the stroller stands upright on its own, making storage and transport easier.
The project scope included ergonomic analysis of the child’s seating position, comprehensive design development of all product components with a focus on weight optimization (7 kg), upholstery design, branding implementation, and CMF design, culminating in a dedicated color collection.
The entire design process — from initial sketches to implementation — was carried out in close collaboration with the Anex R&D team.

Design Challenges
The Air-X² project is an evolution of the Air-X model, with a focus on improving ergonomics, functionality, mobility, and weight.
A key aspect was the redesign of the seat unit to enhance user comfort. Increased width and length provide better support for the child, while a more upright backrest angle in the seated position encourages active observation of the surroundings and improves everyday ergonomics.
The backrest adjustment system — from upright to reclined — is integrated into a handle located at the back of the seat unit, enabling intuitive one-handed operation. This solution allows for smooth transitions between seating and lying positions.

The stroller’s structure has been optimized in terms of folded dimensions — Air-X² is even more compact (55 × 45 × 24 cm) and maintains a stable upright position, making it easier to store in limited spaces.
An important aspect of the product’s development was also weight reduction to 7 kg, while maintaining structural strength and stability.
