Anex Eli is a redesign of the flagship E/type stroller. It was created to establish a new Design DNA for Anex while refining the product’s key functionalities.
Its minimalist design, simplified form, and attention to detail give the product a refined, lifestyle character and define a new aesthetic direction for the Anex brand.
The project scope included comprehensive design development of all stroller components — including the frame, seat unit, carrycot, and upholstery — as well as material, finish, and color selection (CMF), branding implementation, and accessory design.
The entire design process — from initial sketches to implementation — was carried out in close collaboration with the Anex R&D team.

Design challenge
Eli is a redesign of the flagship Anex E/type model — developed to establish a new Design DNA for the brand while improving its functionality. The new model is lighter (10.5 kg), more compact, and more refined in terms of usability compared to its predecessor.
The frame folds together with the seat unit into a compact form, making the stroller easy to store and transport. Its structure allows it to stand upright when folded, eliminating the need to bend down when unfolding.
The carrycot is very lightweight thanks to the use of EPP material, and its height can be adjusted using adapters, improving usability and facilitating closer interaction between parent and child. Memory buttons allow the carrycot and seat unit to be detached with one hand. Lightweight wheels with a closed profile are easy to keep clean, while the suspension system ensures comfortable use across various types of terrain.
The design process covered all stages of product development — from concept sketches, through ergonomic analysis, models and prototypes, to testing and refinement of details. The project was carried out in close collaboration with the Anex R&D team, enabling effective integration of design intent with engineering requirements.

ERGONOMICS
A key focus of the project was the precise definition of ergonomic parameters. The seat unit was designed for children aged 6 months to 4 years, taking into account appropriate proportions, body posture, reach ranges, and field of view.
In designing the frame, particular attention was paid to proportions and geometry to ensure comfort for both shorter and taller caregivers, while allowing close interaction with the child. Ease of use and structural stability were also essential considerations.

LIGHTWEIGHT 2-IN-1 STROLLER
The design of all components was driven by the goal of reducing weight while maintaining durability and consistency with the brand’s minimalist Design DNA.
Eli weighs just 10.5 kg, making it one of the lightest 2-in-1 strollers on the market, certified for children up to 22 kg.

A minimalist design language, simplified forms, and attention to detail give the stroller a refined, lifestyle-oriented character.
