The jewelry collection was inspired by one of the most famous ancient sculptures, Laocoön and His Sons. The designs capture the expression, energy, and raw brutality of the original work. The dynamic, tense forms of the twisting serpents became the primary source of inspiration. A key assumption of the collection was its unisex character, allowing the pieces to be worn by all genders.
The project involved the design of a jewelry collection consisting of three pieces, two rings, and earrings. All pieces were crafted from 18-karat white and yellow gold.

Inspiration
Laocoön and His Sons is a monumental marble sculpture from the Hellenistic period, widely regarded as one of the greatest masterpieces of ancient art. It depicts the Trojan priest Laocoön and his two sons, Antiphas and Thymbraeus, locked in a dramatic struggle with two sea serpents sent by the gods to punish Laocoön for opposing their will.
Lost for centuries, the sculpture was rediscovered in Renaissance Rome, profoundly influencing artists of the time — including Michelangelo — and inspiring new approaches to the representation of human anatomy and emotional expression. The work is renowned for its intense emotional power, particularly its portrayal of agony and helplessness.

Design process
The extraordinary expression, brutality, and energy embodied in the sculpture became the aesthetic foundation of the Laocoön collection. The taut, dynamic forms of serpents entwining human bodies directly informed the designs of the earrings and rings.
Through detailed analysis of the sculpture — its composition and sculptural details — we translated its expressive, almost brutal character into wearable jewelry, creating forms that balance artistic intensity with everyday wearability for both women and men.
